Workshops for New Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Basic workshops for new Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion are being presented by the Office of Worship. Attendance at this workshop is required before a person can be delegated by the Archbishop to serve as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion.
Please check the Archdiocesan Guidelines for Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to ensure that participants fulfill the requirements.

Prayer for Pope Francis
The Holy Father has been hospitalized with a microbial infection and double pneumonia. Reports say he is resting comfortably in stable condition as he receives treatment. Let us pray together,
O God, shepherd and ruler of all the faithful,
look favorably on your servant Francis,
whom you have set at the head of your Church as her shepherd;
Grant, we pray, that by word and example
he may be of service to those over whom he presides
so that, together with the flock entrusted to his care,
he may come to everlasting life.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the
unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.Amen. -

Father in heaven, may the faith you have given us in your son, Jesus Christ, enkindled in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, reawaken your son, Jesus Christ, enkindled in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, reawaken in us the blessed hope for the coming of your Kingdom. May your grace transform us into tireless cultivators of the seeds of the Gospel. May those seeds transform from within both humanity and the whole cosmos in the sure expectation of a new heaven and a new earth, when, with the powers of Evil vanquished, your glory will shine eternally. May the grace of the Jubilee reawaken in us, Pilgrims of Hope, a yearning for the treasures of heaven. May that same grace spread the joy and peace of our Redeemer throughout the earth. To you our God, eternally blessed, be glory and praise for ever. Amen. -
